Frequently Asked Questions
How many dogs do you take in at once?
When I "board" dogs they stay with me in my home. I do not own a kennel and I will not crate your dog (unless you do). I never take in dogs from different homes at the same time unless I am familiar with their demeanor and all owners agree in advance. Since pups stay with me in my home I do not take large numbers of dogs at one time even if they are well socialized. I want to make sure that I am able to give every dog in my care plenty of love and attention.
Will you administer medicine?
Yes, I will administer medicine to your cat or dog. It is very important that we go over the instructions together prior to your pet being in my care.
When do I pay you for your services?
Initially, payment is due prior to services being rendered. If you become a regular client you can choose to be billed weekly or monthly, whichever you prefer.
Do you walk multiple dogs at once?
If you have multiple dogs I will walk them all at once unless you prefer that I walk them separately.
Do you have references?
Absolutely! Feel free to ask and I can get you as many as you would like.
How far in advance should I book your services?
I suggest booking as soon as possible, especially for boarding reservations. Some of my clients book up to a year in advance. However, if you have a last-minute trip don't hesitate to contact me. I will always do whatever I can to help.
Will you pet sit in my home?
I do not stay overnight in my client's homes. I am able to come over multiple times a day to care for your pets. I also offer home sitting services such as taking in the mail and watering plants. We will discuss your needs in detail prior to your departure.
